About Zach Alden
While stationed in Okinawa, Japan I had spent 4 years in South East Asia surrounded by Eastern traditions and ancient philosophies, often visiting local temples and shrines. Due to my perpetuating fascination for Eastern thought I enrolled into Naropa University.
During my enrollment I asked the questions in class, then sought the answers between semesters. The synthesis of the two learning experiences has made this platform the enjoyable possibility that it is today.

Lifestyle and Wellness
In the spring of 2026 I completed the Harvard Medial School Health and Lifestyle program to understand the latest techniques for addressing and supporting lifestyle changes.
Currently, I am on track to graduate with a BA in Psychology with a focus on Health & Healing with a double minor in Yoga and Psychedelic studies.
Disabled American Veterans
In late 2025 the DAV heard of my story and reached out. Without hesitation I accepted the offer to be apart of their project. Plant medicine at large, has profound potential for addressing psychological issues when conducted correctly.
I am in support of the right initiatives tackling these matters, it should not be lost on anyone however, the serious cost to culture, peoples, and mental frameworks when conducted without respect and reverence.
Universal Life Church Ministry
In October of 2024 I became an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. My perspectives of life and religion had shifted for the better following my time living in the jungle. Even more so my interest in the exploration of global theologies heightened.
Ayahuasca Curandero Initiation
During the summer of 2024, I was welcomed into the Shipibo lineage under Maestro "E" in the Amazon Jungle. Now spanning over multiple summers, I've studied and worked with various plants, understanding these life forms as teachers, allies, and medicine.
